iMAPS is part of the World Microbiome Partership. In iMAPS, we aim to build a global network, with each node operating real-time metabolic sensing, functional-microbe mining and ecological restoration of microbiota, and representing a particular research or geographic area. In this way, the microbiota functional profiles and biobanks of indigenous strains with in-situ metabolic function can directly benefit science, industry, government, and in particular, the welfare and economy of the local communities.
iMAPS is open to collaboration.
Whether you are a university researcher, industry scientist, government administrator, biobank curator, educator, or indigenous knowledge holder, we welcome your participation and contribution.
