iMAPS Practical Hands-on Training Workshop: Single-Cell In-situ Metabolic Profiling, Sorting, and Cultivation of Functional Microbes
This intensive hands-on workshop will train participants to use the iMAPS (In-situ Metabolic Atlas Project @ Single-Cell) platform to directly detect, sort, cultivate, and analyze functional microbes from complex samples, using single-cell Raman metabolic phenotyping, high-throughput FlowRACS sorting, Digital Colony Picker (DCP) recovery, and AI-driven microbial classification.
The goal is to accelerate microbial resource discovery and application in biomanufacturing, environmental remediation, medical testing, and probiotic development.
Workshop Content
Technology modules:
Meta-Ramanomics / single-cell Raman spectroscopy for label-free metabolic phenotyping and high-throughput sorting;
Digital Colony Picker (DCP) for massively parallel single-cell cultivation, multimodal phenotype screening, and traceable target colony retrieval;
Instrument demonstrations
